Legal advice for birth injuries and clinical and medical negligence

Having a disabled child or a child with special needs is hard enough, but when you think that your child's disability may have been caused by human error what do you do?  I strongly recommend that you seek legal advice from Pannone, a firm of solicitors with specialist expertise in clinical and medical negligence cases.

Our son's birth was mismanaged and he suffered brain injury as a result.  I wanted legal advice and spoke to a friend whose child had also suffered brain injury.  He recommended Pannone as solicitors with a good reputation throughout the country for clinical negligence cases.

Pannone worked fantastically on our behalf.  Throughout the process we had regular communication and meetings with them and they explained everything in full detail and in layman's terms not legal speak.   Our contacts at Pannone, John Kitchingman and Laura Morgan, almost became part of our family.   In 2002 Lewis's case finally settled and we still remain in contact with one another.  Pannone played a massive part in our lives for those 6 years and provided us with a great sense of understanding, advice and commitment.

Even following the case we still have a great deal of contact with Pannone as the money that Lewis was awarded has been invested to ensure a greater income when he reaches 18 years of age.  Lewis has trust funds set up in his name under the trustees appointed by the Court, these being his parents and Hugh Jones of Pannone.  Hugh acts as a third trustee to ensure that Lewis money is invested to its best potential and any funds spent from the amount awarded are spent correctly and for the right reasons.  Pannone have also written our wills to cover all eventualities in relation to our family and the compensation received.

Since using Pannone I have recommended them to several people who have since pursued their cases either leading to compensation or just answers to questions that they would not have received from the hospital.  I have a real desire to share the knowledge and insight that I have gained as the mother of a child with cerebral palsy and Pannone have assisted me in the development of the Ableneeds website through financial sponsorship and legal advice.

If you are concerned or have questions relating to a mismanaged birth or injury I would strongly recommend that you follow this link to the Pannone site and see other cases on their site.  Contact Pannone for advice if you have any concerns.
