Powerchair Football is a new and exciting sport for wheelchair users. Sessions take place on a Thursday evening between 5.00pm and 6.00pm at a cost of £3 per session.
Percy Hedley also offer a second session which caters for the elite players based at the academy.

WheelPower provides accessible facilities at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the “home of Wheelchair Sport” including an Athletics Arena, Sports Hall, Indoor Bowls Centre, Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre. The Gladiators RFC
The Gladiators XV is an integrated rugby team of people with disabilities and their friends.
From the beginning our motto has been “Friendship through Sport” and we have built our success on developing ability where only disability was noted before. Hard work has brought us well earned rewards.
Members of the team come from a variety of backgrounds and have a wide range of learning disabilities e.g. downs syndrome and cerebral palsy. Some have a sensory or physical disability. In 2006 the Gladiators went to develop a now fully fledged Junior Section.
